Saturday workshops will be held in Jordan Hall. Parking is in the South Street Parking Garage. at the end of Jeanette LAncaster Way. The yellow and blue "Mid-Atlantic Crystallography" signs have been posted.

Keynote speaker

This year the keynote speaker is William Weis from Stanford University School of Medicine.


Following the traditional format, the meeting will start with a Thursday afternoon keynote presentation. Talks, posters and sponsor exhibits will be held on Friday, June 1 (morning and afternoon) & Saturday, June 2nd (morning). Talks will be selected from submitted abstracts with preference given to more junior members of our community. A Student Poster Competition will also take place.

Structure Determination Workshop

This hands on workshop, organized by Drs. Maks Chruszcz and David Cooper of Dr. Wladek Minor's laboratory and featuring Dr. Jim Pflugrath from Rigaku Americas, will show you how to determine structures using HKL-3000. Bring your own difficult data sets or solve structures using example data sets.

Lipidic Cubic Phase (LCP) Crystallization Workshop

Drs. Vadim Cherezov and Wei Liu from the NIH Common Fund in Structural Biology supported Joint Center for Innovative Membrane Protein Technologies (JCIMPT) at The Scripps Research Institute will demonstrate the use of current LCP methods and tools for the crystallization of membrane proteins.
